Sesame Turkey Meatballs

Looking for a lean protein recipe? Well you’ve found it. My sesame meatballs are quick, simple, full of flavor and you can just pop them in your mouth whenever!

It’s a perfect addition to add on top of your zucchini noodles for a low-carb, gluten-free option over over spaghetti noodles.

Pro Tip: Freeze your sesame meatballs for an easy to make dinner later (or better yet, double the recipe and freeze half so you have an entire dinner!)

Sesame Turkey Meatballs

A quick dinner recipe that pairs perfectly with my tahini sauce over a bed of zucchini noodles!

Ingredients
  

  • 20 oz 97% Lean Turkey Meat
  • 2 T. Parmesan Cheese
  • 2/3 c. Unseasoned Breadcrumbs
  • 1 T. Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 2 tsp. Ground Ginger
  • 2 tsp. Sesame Oil
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Egg White
  • 2 tsp. Liquid Smoke

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Combine all ingredients (except liquid smoke) in a medium-sized bowl and mix well
  • Roll out mixture into 1 in. balls and place on a cooking sheet with aluminum foil
  • Using a pastry brush, brush a little bit of liquid smoke on top of all the meatballs
  • Bake for 10 minutes
  • Remove from oven and set oven to 'Broil' on high
  • Broil meatballs for 3-5 minutes or until desired crispiness is reached
  • Enjoy!
