These recipes are super popular and after making my own, I understand why. It’s highly addicting!
Maybe its the thick, creamy texture or the sweet flavor. Honestly, it may just be the fact that it’s super simple and quick to make (a trend with my recipes if you couldn’t tell).
Also, I am a sucker for anything with chocolate, especially hot chocolate! I drink it year round from my Keurig (swiss miss k-cups for the win!) When I saw I had beans in my pantry, I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to turn it into chocolate chip cookie dough.
Okay, that sounds weird and it’s probably not the first thing you would have though of when you see a can of beans in your pantry, but just go with it!
TBH, I’m not usually a big fan of beans. Too much can upset my stomach which is why I eat this in portions. It’s a great way to gradually up your fiber intake without having to inhale a bunch of spinach.
